Weekend with Grandma and Grandpa

Matt's parents are in town for a visit, and we had a very busy weekend. We started the weekend with the 4th avenue Street Fair and ended at the Rennasaince Festival. We had a lot of fun!! Once again, I still don't know how to format the pictures so they are in no particular order.

Spring Training 2010

We spent yesterday afternoon at Hi Corbett field watching the Spring Training Opening game between the Rockies and the Brewers with the Ennen's. Sadly, the Brewers handed the game away in the 7th inning but we had fun anyway.

Update on the Update

The security settings didn't help the formatting. Still no spaces or indents. If anyone knows what I can do to change this please let me know. Parker has another ear infection, 3rd in 6 weeks. Next week we will meet with specialist to talk about tubes. And finally, Parker had to make a liar out of me. All I had to do was write it down that he refused to stnd up without pulling up on a chair or something and he does it. Today he started standing up with out any assistance. He stood up in the middle of Applebees with no help this afternoon and repeated it for Daddy once we got home.

Long Overdue Update...

Well, I have a lot of apologizing to do. First, I have had one hell of a time formatting this blog and it may have been due to some security settings on the computer. Matt changed them tonight and now I have ABSOLUTELY no idea in what order any of these pictures are uploading or how this post is going to turn out. Also, it has been a while since I have done an update. I was working on every week or two with Parker and now this poor new baby is getting completely shafted. Now on the the actual update. We have had a very busy month. Matt started a new job for a company called Improvement Interactive. He is the Network Administrator, and it is a virtual company so everyone works out of their home. He has been there for a few weeks now and it is going very well. Working at home is an unusual set-up for us but we are working out the kinks. His company is also having a "Social" tomorrow and meeting at a Mexican restaurant for lunch and margaritas. I need a company like that! Parker is doing wonderful. He is such a smart, funny little boy. He is almost 15 months old now. I can't believe it!!! He is walking, but still refusing to stand up without pulling up on me or furniture. He can bend down to pick up toys and stand up, he just can't put two and two together to figure out he can stand up from sitting too. Even though he won't stand on his own, he is now trying to jump. He bends his legs down low and straightens them while yelling "JUMP", and he gets no air at all. It is adorable!! He talks a blue streak. He mimics what ever you say and can put words to objects. Some of his new words today are kisses, jump, grapes, and glasses. He also signs along with talking. His favorite of course is "Please", but he thinks he should get whatever he has asked for as long as he says please. He has also mastered "Thank you" and sounds so cute when he says it. My Mom laughs because he says thank you for everything, even when you give him medicine. Speaking of medicine, we have had two more ear infections this month. We now have an appointment with the ear, nose & throat specialist to talk about tubes. I would like to use this forum to apologize to my parents. Parker has inherited my temper and I now know what they had to put up with. Along with a temper, he is a naughty little boy. Perfect combination right? A perfect example is our trip to the park this afternoon. Parker was playing in the sand and found a piece of styrofoam. He tried to put it in his mouth so I said "No No" and pulled his hand down. He looked straight at me and put it right back in his mouth. Typical toddler you say... Well, I took the styrofoam away so he grabbed a rock and put it right in his mouth with out blinking. Still looking right at my. I took the rock away and again, without looking away he grabbed a handful of sand and put it right in his mouth. I shook as much sand out of his mouth as I could and picked him up to take him out of the park. He SCREAMED!!!! Back arched, face as red as a tomato. He locked his legs straight so I couldn't get him in the stroller and SCREAMED. Eventually I won ( I always do) and he succombed to the stroller and we made our way home. To quote Roger, "It too shall pass"! New baby update!!! We are now 14 weeks and at the end of the first trimester. I don't have morning sickness, I just feel like crap most of the time and have been very tired. I have also had headaches the past few weeks and have already gotten a vericose vein. This child is already trying to kill me!! Luckily, the vericose vein was caused by some kind of occlusion that has since opened and has dissipated. We had an appointment on Monday and the Doctor said the headaches should also dissipate in the next couple of weeks. Along with the second trimester comes more energy and I am soooo excited!! There just isn't enough time to do everything when you are in bed at 8 oclock at night. Besides that everything is going well. This child is a very hungry child and is expanding my belly a lot quicker than Parker did. My clothes are already starting to get tight and I will be busting out the maternity clothes in the next couple of weeks. Hope you all have had as much fun as we have this past month. Here are some of the new pictures.
