Take me out to the Ball Game!

We spent last weekend in Phoenix with Matt's Dad and his friend Bill. They flew down from Wisconsin to watch some spring training games. We drove to Phoenix on Saturday and spent a couple hours at Matt company picnic. They had reserved a few ramadas and had a HUGE picnic. The park had an urban lake, a playground, a train, and the coolest grill ramada. The company had rented jumping castles and the normal company picnic stuff. Parker and I were able to meet some of Matt's co-workers and his boss so it was fun. We spent Saturday night in Phoenix and went to to a Brewer's spring training game on Sunday. We hadn't been to Maryvale before so it was pretty cool. Grandpa Jim brought Parker a bunch of Brewer gear so we were all decked out. Parker loved his first baseball game, and Daddy did too. Matt caught a foul ball in the air with his bare hands. He was pretty excited about that. Parker loved spending time with his Grandpa Jim and misses him very much!! Well, I started my writing class yesterday. Both my classes are pretty intensive, so I will be spending most of my free time on homework. I will do my best to update when I can but it may be more sporadic than I would like. I promise that after I graduate (can you believe it) on May 21st I will post pics every week!!!

What a week, or three

We have had a busy 3 weeks, as always. We had a visit from Dawn, I returned to work, and baby Masen was born. Life keeps changing, but it just seems to get better. Work is good. I am learning a new area of accounting so I have a new challenge. Parker is going to my Mom's daycare for the first few months and it is going really well. Parker loves all the attention, and he loves to interact with the other kids. All the activity has helped him to begin sleeping through the night. Yeah for me!!! At first I would still wake up, but last night we all got a full 8 hours of uniteruppted sleep. It was WONDERFUL! Parker also hit a big milestone, he rolled over for the first time on his 3 month birthday. He has never liked tummy time, so when I had him on his belly he rolled right back to his back. He did it twice more in front of Matt on the same night, but hasn't done it again since.
Here is Parker & Avery.
She gets a little upset when Parker gets her spot on the bed.
We had lots of fun when Dawn was in town. We went hiking and had a picnic at Sabino Canyon. There was a lot of water, but it was still a little to cold to go swimming. We did put our feet (Parkers too) in the water during lunch.
Bathtime fun!

3 month Pictures by Aunt Kiara

I am very lucky to have such a talented family. My sister has always been an avid photographer when it comes to her kids, and now with the fun things you can do on the computer she can make them all artsy. Here are some of the pics of Parker at 3months old (Can you believe it's already been 3 months!!!!)

A Brother from another Mother

Happy Birthday to Masen Robert!!! Cherie gave birth to her beautiful baby boy last night after almost 24 hours of labor. He is strong and healthy, and Mom is doing well. Masen was born at 9:23pm, he weighed 7lbs 14oz and 20 inches long. We are both so excited to have our boys so close in age so they can grow up together. It is a wonderful experiance to have a life long friend, and I am so glad that Parker and Masen will have each other.

He Giggled!!!

Last night we had Parker on his changing table (a place he loves) getting ready for bed. He is normally all smiles on his changing table so we usually spend a few minutes playing before he gets dressed. Parker is lifting his legs up a little higher than he used to, and his is reaching for objects, so I've started to put his feet and legs where he can reach them to help him out. Last night, I was putting his toes in his mouth and he let out the cutest giggle. Not the inverted laugh, not a coo, a real giggle. It was the cutest thing I've ever heard. And to make it even better, Matt had just gotten home so he was in Parker's room with us and he heard it too! Now the trick will be to see if I can get another one!
